Happy Birthday to The Young and The Restless Star Doug Davidson!

Best wishes to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Doug Davidson who celebrates his birthday today! The actor joined Y&R as Paul Williams in 1978, making him the soap’s longest-serving current cast member. Over the years, he has earned five Daytime Emmy Award nominations, taking home the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2013.

After captaining the Y&R team when they played for charity on FAMILY FEUD in the early ‘90s, Davidson was tapped to host the short-lived syndicated game show THE NEW PRICE IS RIGHT, and was even considered to replace Bob Barker when he stepped down as host of the original THE PRICE IS RIGHT. He also hosted the live stage show adaptation, The Price Is Right Live! at Harrah’s casinos in Las Vegas!

On Y&R, Paul has had quite a rocky romantic history, but in real life, Davidson has been happily married to his wife, Cindy Fisher, since 1984. They have two children together, daughter Calyssa and son Caden.
