While home for the holidays, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea) went through some old family photos and shared an embarrassing one of her as a little girl that led to an epic back and forth between her and friends and former castmates Chrishell Stause (ex-Bethany, Y&R), Rebecca Budig (Hayden, GENERAL HOSPITAL), and Alicia Minshew (Kendall, ALL MY CHILDREN)

“What would the holidays be like if we couldn’t celebrate round two of ‘Why Did My Parents Hate Me?’” Egan joked on Twitter.
When Minshew saw the photo she immediately tweeted, “You remind me of little Rebecca Budig! She has the same photo! Twins with bowl cuts! So cute!”
Budig agreed and promised to find the evidence, although she ultimately had to settle for a different pic from the same era. “Here you go,” she posted. “I couldn’t find the one with crooked bangs. But it exists.”
Noting the scrapes around Budig’s eyes and mouth, Egan joked back, “Were you also a UFC fighter as a young child?”
Stause got in on the action with her own blurry shot of herself as a little girl, though she admitted, “I look like a boy with some serious Jessica Beal bangs going on.”
Finally, Minshew chimed in with one of her own, though with her curly hair she of course didn’t have a bowl cut like her friends. “Oh my God!” she tweeted. “Stop! I feel like you three all look alike! So cute! This is the one I was looking for — Bozo!”
When Budig’s GH co-star Michelle Stafford (Nina; ex-Phyllis, Y&R) commented, “Um, not to jump on y’all’s train, but this is gorgeous. You want to see funky, look at mind.” But when Budig asked her to put up or shut up, Stafford confessed, “Dude, it’s never gonna see the light of day!”
We think all the ladies were adorable children, and are gorgeous women today!
