Y&R Star Goes To The Prom

Robbie Tucker — who recurs as Michael and Lauren’s son, Fenmore, on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS — hasn’t been seen in Genoa City since the holidays last December. But the young actor can be caught on the big screen starting today in Prom, a Disney feature film! “I play Charlie, the younger brother of Jesse (played by Thomas McDonell),” says Tucker. “Charlie’s outgoing and fun and he really likes his brother. Charlie and his mom want Jesse to go to the prom with this girl. He doesn’t really want to go so we try to help him.”

Playing a younger brother on-screen isn’t a stretch for Tucker, who reveals, “I have a brother and sister in real-life and I’m the youngest. And the best news is that Prom is a flick that the whole family — including Tucker himself — can check out. “Yeah, it’s PG,” he enthuses. “So I can see it!”

Tucker’s also completed a role in Family Weekend, which is set for release in the summer of 2012. The young actor and his on-screen siblings force their parents, played by Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Modine, into taking a look at the importance of family members spending time together. The movie also stars Shirley Jones (ex-Colleen, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) as their grandmother. Tucker says he’s a tad too young to remember Jones’ run as matriarch Shirley Jones on the popular ’70s family sitcom THE PATRIDGE FAMILY, but notes, “my mom told me all about it!”
