Y&R’s McKenna Has A New STATE Of Mind!
THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Chris McKenna (Det. Harding) is about to do some moonlighting! The actor has landed a recurring gig on the upcoming NBC drama STATE OF AFFAIRS, in which Katherine Heigl plays a top advisor to Alfre Woodard’s President of the United States.
McKenna plays Nick Vera, a CIA operator who provides Charleston Tucker (Heigl’s character) with her first taste of the ugly business of on-the-ground intelligence gathering. A STATE rep adds that Nick’s time in the field has had a strong impact on how he sees his work, politicians and the agency, adding that Nick has a “complex” relationship with Charlie.
But criminals in Genoa City should still be careful, because McKenna will continue to appear on Y&R! “For those concerned, NBC and CBS have been working together and so far [so] good on working out both schedules,” the actor tweeted. A Y&R spokesperson tells Soaps In Depth that McKenna has upcoming shows that we’ll see this fall. STATE OF AFFAIRS debuts on Wednesday, November 17, at 10:00 p.m. EST.
