What You Missed On Yesterday’s Y&R!

Due to issues between CBS and Time Warner, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL are not currently being aired in several markets. To help those impacted, we’ll be offering daily recaps.

Wednesday, August 28

Avery worried that Faith might give her and Nick trouble about their upcoming wedding. Nick told her that Sharon was going to help convince Faith to accept their marriage. Avery expressed her skepticism over Sharon’s good intentions, and admitted that she’d ordered her to stay away from her fiancé! At Sharon’s place, Sharon explained to Faith that she understood how much Faith wanted Nick and her to get back together, but that Nick was still going to marry Avery. Of course, the blonde stunner was secretly gleeful when her daughter remained stubbornly insistent that Nick would be much happier with Sharon than with the legal eagle! At Mason’s place, Neil questioned him over whether he knew Ann Turner, and showed him the cell number that Ann had called frequently. Mason promised to give him a list of employees that might have access to the phone. After Neil left, he texted Hilary to give her a heads up about Neil’s investigation! At Crimson Lights, Devon accused Hilary of being up to something. Later, Cane ran into Hilary, and was surprised when Hilary told him that Devon had accused her of trying to cause problems in his marriage. When Cane questioned Devon, he insisted that Hilary was making him into the bad guy. Lily and Devon revealed their suspicions about Hilary. After Devon left, Cane and Lily argued about Hilary’s intentions. Lily suggested that they work together to come up with a plan to expose Hilary. Meanwhile, Neil told Devon that he believed Mason was working with Ann. At the police station, Kevin told Paul that Carmine had lured Alex to Chicago, but he believed the stalker was in Genoa City, and had even gotten a badge as a maintenance worker in Lauren and Michael’s building. Meanwhile, Carmine knocked out Michael, and then grabbed Lauren, saying that he’d turned on the gas and they could now die happy together! Just when Carmine suggested no one would save her, Michael revived, and battled him! While her hubby occupied Carmine, Lauren raced for a gun, and then told Michael that she wanted to end Carmine’s torment once and for all! Surprisingly, Michael urged her to put the gun down, reminding her that she’d stopped him before he’d shot Carmine. Paul arrived in time to arrest Carmine. After Paul carted him off to jail, Michael admitted that he wanted deep down for Lauren to kill him!

Do you think Nick and Avery should postpone their wedding because of Faith? And is Mason only asking for trouble by aligning himself with Hilary/Ann? Share your thoughts in the comments!
