TVGN Airing Y&R Specials Before Airing Soap

As we previously reported, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS will be leaving SOAPnet for TVGN, and now we have an official date for the switch. Beginning on Monday, July 1, you can find same-day episodes of Y&R on TVGN at the same time, 7:00 pm EST. To help promote the switch and make sure people are aware they can still catch same-day re-airings of the number one daytime drama, TVGN has created an adorable promo featuring fan-favorite couple Billy and Victoria, played by Billy Miller and Amelia Heinle.

In addition, TVGN will be airing a special episode of its series inFANity, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS ON-SET: inFANity, on Monday, June 17, at 9:00 pm EST. Hosted by Kristoff St. John (Neil), the one-hour special will go behind the scenes in Genoa City with never-before-seen footage and interviews with the cast.

Then, on Monday, July 1, at 6:00 pm EST, just before the first TVGN airing of Y&R, the network will be hosting COUNTDOWN TO THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS ON TVGN. A live audience will have the opportunity to meet Y&R cast members and ask questions. But everyone can submit questions to be asked during the special by tweeting them with the hashtag #YRonTVGN starting now. You might just see your question answered on the show!

Also, starting on Monday, July 1, fans can enter a special Y&R Facebook sweepstakes for the chance to win a visit to the Y&R set to meet castmembers! All you have to do is watch Y&R on TVGN each night to get the daily code word, and then visit Facebook.com/TVGN to enter the word to try and win!
