Congratulations to Kate Linder, who celebrates her 34th anniversary as Esther on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS today!

“I said my first line, ‘Mrs. Chancellor, dinner is served,’ 34 years ago today!” the veteran actress posted on Twitter.

Linder debuted on April 8, 1982 in what was meant to be a one-off appearance. But that became a recurring role until 1985, when she was put on contract with Y&R.
