“So excited!” he tweeted. “A family business! Can’t wait to help peeps achieve their goals!”
Burton reports that his wife is certified in nutrition and he himself is now going through the same certification process himself. And his brother-in-law, John Gustin, is a personal trainer and certified in nutrition as well. "It’s just our passion and our lifestyle," he declared on Instagram.
Burton Nutrition is selling meal replacement shakes to help people lose weight and reach their fitness goals. He’s offering an autographed photo of himself to the first 5,000 people who join him and more importantly, the Burton Challenge community on the site. “I believe the best way to get the results you’re looking for is to be surrounded by others on the same journey,” he says on the site, “and creating a positive environment for support and accountability.”
“We had a great launch this weekend,” Burton announced during a Facebook Live video. “We got some great stuff coming up. We got a lot more products happening. We’ve got so much stuff planned, I can’t wait.”
And longtime fans are well aware that Burton knows what he's talking about when it comes to exercise and nutrition!
Burton is turning into quite the businessman, launching a website with GH castmate Derk Cheetwood (Max) to help wannabe actors break into Hollywood as well as co-owning the Nashville restaurant Jack and Jameson’s Smokehouse with friend Jonathan Jackson (ex-Lucky, GH). But fans shouldn’t worry that he’s given up acting entirely!
“Right now I’m focusing on Burton Nutrition.com,” he said before teasing, “You never know, I might end up on TV again somewhere… you never know…”
Fans missing Burton on their TV’s can reminisce about his days on Y&R and GH through the gallery of fun selfies he’s taken with his co-stars over the years!
