On June 21, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Robert Adamson (ex-Noah) debuts in his "dream role"as Biff Loman in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman at the Ruskin Group Theatre in Los Angeles. Heading up the cast is Rob Morrow as Willy Loman (NORTHERN EXPOSURE, BILLIONS), Dylan Rourke (IN THE VAULT, GREY'S ANATOMY) and Lee Carlington (MISTRESSES, BROKEN). Adamson has been keeping fans updated on the show with some behind-the-scenes photos through his Instagram account. "Please come check it out if you’re in town," he urged his fans.
Y&R castmate Christian Le Blanc (Michael) went to a preview performance of the play on Thursday night, "Saw the preview of Death of A Salesman last night," Le Blanc tweeted. "Robert Adamson is amazing!" Although Adamson admitted on his own Instagram he hopes he doesn't do the same thing on opening night he did during the preview! "Let’s just hope I don’t go on stage with my fly down," he joked. "I did that last night."
Death of A Salesman won a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony award for playwright Arthur Miller and is an example of the post WW II realism movement in the arts. Taking place in the late '40s in Brooklyn, the story revolves around a ne'er do well traveling salesman and the relationships he has with his sons, wife, and neighbors. The play will be performed on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday matinees, through August 4, 2019. Tickets are on sale from $20-$35 and can be purchased on the theater's website.
