THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Recaps — Sharon Dumped Nick at the Altar!

A lot can happen in a day in Genoa City, so it’s easy to get lost. If you’ve missed anything that happened over the last week or so on the soap, our THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS recaps can help you get back up to speed in no time!

On the eve of her wedding, Sharon was upset when Nick revealed that he’d bought her a house as a wedding present. Nick’s high-handed action deepened her misgivings that the hunk was turning into his father! Later, Sharon continued to feel guilty about her secret regarding J.T., but once again was pressured not to tell Nick. But another secret came out when Summer told Mariah about Nick’s infidelity with Phyllis. After an internal debate, Mariah told Sharon, prompting the infuriated bride-to-be to call off the wedding! The fallout of the secret splattered onto Phyllis and Billy, with him retaliating against his lover by sleeping with Summer! Understandably, Summer was hopeful over their relationship, even though Billy disappeared the next morning. After kicking Nick out, Sharon tried to move on with her life, which meant growing closer to Rey as they bonded over their broken marriages. Needless to say, Nick was upset over their increasingly close relationship and renewed his efforts to win Sharon back!

Jack Is an Abbott!

Jack was relieved that he and Victor weren’t brothers, but upset that he was no closer to knowing who his biological father was! Meanwhile, confronted with evidence of Billy’s embezzling and gambling, Ashley brought Traci to town to oust Billy and step in as Jabot CEO. Instead, Traci organized an intervention! Alas, Billy walked out, prompting Traci to become Jabot’s CEO and overturn the blood-Abbott clause! Kyle double-crossed Ashley to get his dad in as CEO, but she won the power struggle. As the new CEO, Ashley faced her first dilemma when Andrew from Type A Consulting blackmailed her over a secret. When she refused to pay more, Andrew went to Kyle, who shared his suspicions with Jack. Later, Phyllis recognized Andrew from when she worked in the DNA lab, which forced Ashley to reveal the truth — she’d paid Andrew to fake Jack’s paternity test. As it turned out, Jack was John Abbott’s biological son after all!

In Other News…

Cane visited Lily and was taken aback by her hardened personality. A frustrated Lily blasted him for not understanding what she needed to do to survive prison. Thankfully, their argument ended with Cane apologizing and promising to love his wife, no matter what! Across town, Noah, who’d arrived for his parents’ wedding, prepared to leave again — but not before making peace with Tessa and wishing her well with his sister. Meanwhile, Kyle began dating Lola, which had her brothers turning overprotective, with Rey even doing a background check! Victoria was shaken when she received a letter from someone claiming to know what she’d done and warning she’d pay. Later, Nikki, Phyllis and Sharon revealed that they had received identical letters. The foursome grew increasingly combative with each other, especially when they received additional letters demanding money and warning that if they didn’t pay up, their secret would be exposed!
