Nate, Nick and Victor tried smuggling an ailing Nikki out of town, but they were stopped at the airport. Rey arrested the three men, eventually letting Nate and Nick go when Nikki insisted she hadn’t been kidnapped. Victor, however, was charged with J.T.’s murder. Nick believed his dad guilty… until Victor asked his son if he had killed J.T.! While this was going on, Victoria shared with Reed her fear that Nikki had been abducted by the same person who’d run her down, prompting her son to confess that he and Charlie were the drivers in question!
Cane and Victoria Kissed!
Devon and Ana decided to throw a New Year’s Eve party at the penthouse. Missing Lily, Cane got drunk and passed out early. Lola broke up with Kyle, saying the expensive Christmas gift he bought her indicated that he didn’t know her at all. Fen hoped this would give him a chance to date the beauty, but she eventually agreed to give Kyle another chance. As if a killer hangover wasn’t enough to ruin the first day of 2019 for Cane, Victoria told him what their sons had done. Both dealing with their own issues, Cane and Victoria lashed out at one another and then wound up sharing a kiss! Immediately regretting the buss, they agreed to never mention it again.

In Other News
Mariah did a story about Victor’s arrest on GC BUZZ. Furious about the report, Abby took Mariah to task. Truth be told, Mariah was feeling guilty, given that she knew the truth about how J.T. had died! Jill swung into town for a visit, revealing that she and Colin had separated. Despite her marital woes, she immediately began offering Cane and Billy advice about their own relationships. Off his mother’s advice, Cane vowed to be a better husband. He and Victoria opted to let Nikki decide Charlie and Reed’s fate. When the boys confessed, Nikki immediately forgave them, admitting that she was to blame, too, because she had been drinking. Jill was pleased to hear that Billy and Victoria were getting closer again, urging him to take his time and not waste this opportunity at a do-over.
