This Halloween week brings tricks and treats in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers! As Ashley leaves the Abbott family behind, Phyllis steps up to try and repair the damage. But will they let her? And when the ladies are forced to dig up J.T.’s grave, will their secret finally be exposed?
Now that the truth is all out in the open, and Ashley knows that she owns the Jabot patents, she’s decided to strike out on her own. “I’ve booked a flight to Paris tonight,” she informs her stunned family members. “And I’m going to be on it.” With the Abbots and Jabot in tatters, an unlikely savior offers to help make things right. “With me as CEO,” Phyllis declares, “I think it would send out a clear signal that this is not the same old Jabot. That this is new.” Billy, for one, would love to see Phyllis take control of the company… if only to watch her fail! “I plan on having a front row seat to watch you implode,” he grins. But Jack warns: “Never underestimate Phyllis.”
Nikki is freaking out, and she pays a visit to Victoria’s office to share the latest bad news. “Why are you getting so upset about a broken water pipe?” Vicki wonders as she hands her mother a bottle of water. Nikki steels herself and reveals: “This particular pipe is in Chancellor Park. Directly underneath the sculpture.” Victoria’s face falls. “And J.T.,” she gasps, horrified. With the blackmailer already out there tormenting them with the knowledge that someone knows what they did to J.T., Nikki fears that fixing the broken water pipe will reveal the crime they thought they’d buried to everyone else. “They’re going to find the body!” she cries. But Victoria promises her mother: “I’m not gonna let that happen!” Unfortunately, when Nikki, Victoria, Phyllis, and Sharon all dress in black and don masks and try to dig up J.T.’s corpse for themselves, they get a terrible fright!
