THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS’ Mishael Morgan Announces She’s Pregnant With an Adorable Gender Reveal!
Congratulations are in order for THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS star Mishael Morgan (Hilary), who is pregnant with her second child! The actress and her husband, Navid Ali, shared the big news at her birthday party on June 15 where she opened up a bag of balloons that could have been either blue or pink. Although she struggled with getting it untied, she eventually set free a swarm of pink balloons indicating she is going to be having a baby girl! “Best birthday present ever!” she enthused on Instagram. “My official reveal that yes, I am pregnant! And guess what… it’s a girl!”
Unfortunately, the news will be slightly bittersweet for her Y&R fans who would have looked forward to having Morgan’s real-life pregnancy written into her storyline, but she has decided to leave the soap where she has played Hilary Curtis for the past five years. Hilary is currently pregnant with Devon’s child, but with the character set to exit the canvas within the coming month, viewers are unlikely to see the family enjoy a happy ending.
Morgan and her husband already have one son, Niam, who is getting ready to turn three on Aug. 9. You can see Niam in the video above trying to help his mommy and daddy get that bag open to find out if he’s going to be a big brother to a little brother or a little sister, and he already looks excited to have a new sibling!
