Y&R's Michael Mealor Reveals the Advice He Got From Peter Bergman

When it comes to advice, Michael Mealor (Kyle, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) told Soaps In Depth that TV-dad Peter Bergman (Jack) knows best! “He told me to think of the audience’s point of view when you get to blocking and see what they will see. Show the audience something that the person behind you in the scene doesn’t see. That was great advice!” In fact, the hunk used it at the first opportunity. “I was in a fight with Phyllis in the CEO office, and I turned around and walked to the couch, rolling my eyes,” Mealor recounted with a grin. “Phyllis is behind me, so she will never see that. But the audience sees what’s really going on. That’s cool, because they respond to it. They’re like, ‘Oh, he just did that! Now I know what he’s thinking!’”
