Fans of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS knew to expect the drama with the return of Melissa Claire Egan's Chelsea to the soap, and now that she's getting mixed up with Michelle Staford's Phyllis, things are going to get downright wild! The two actresses made some press appearances to promote Y&R, including one on GOOD DAY SACRAMENTO that saw Stafford reminiscing about a memorable scene where Phyllis put a real octopus in Cricket and Paul's bed!
But the real juicy bit came at the end where the hosts asked the pair to tease some upcoming storyline. "Chelsea kind of stabs Phyllis in the back," Egan admitted, "which you know, you don't want to do because her wrath is like, intense." Stafford added: "Right. And then Phyllis comes back and takes her down!" They then both laughed as they agreed the two women would just continue trying to one-up the other.
"And then there's this huge party that we throw for the opening of the Grand Phoenix," Egan previewed, "this hotel that's this big venture. And some crazy stuff happens there. You have to watch. We can't really say. It's never really been done in daytime, I don't think, but what happens at the party is like, bananas. It's actually funny, too!"
