On THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, it seems sometimes as though Nick is turning into his father, Victor, which is something his portrayer, Joshua Morrow, is noticing in his own children in real life. The actor married his wife, Tobe Keeney, in 2001, and they have four children together — Cooper, 16, Crew, 13, Cash, 10, and daughter Charlie Jo, 6.
“Cooper is a lot like me,” Morrow confided to Soaps In Depth. “He’s very comfortable being alone. Not a lot of highs or lows. He’s very easygoing. And Cash is competitive like me. My middle son, Crew, is the most like Tobe. Huge heart, will do anything for anyone. Everyone gravitates towards him. He’s the life of the party.”
As for their little girl, it turns out that Charlie Jo is well on her way to becoming her own person. “She is so smart, but so bossy. She knows what she wants, and is going to get it,” Morrow admitted before joking that he can see his daughter growing up to be a fine dictator one day. “Maybe she’ll be a really adorable Kim Jong-un, because she’s so unreasonable!”
Of course, Morrow added that his wife puts the blame for any of Charlie Jo’s bad behavior squarely on his shoulders! “Tobe says it’s my fault because Charlie and I are super close,” he confessed. “She’s my baby girl and it’s hard for me to say no to her. I’m trying to teach her lessons, but it’s really hard!”
We’re sure all four of their children will grow up to be just as incredible as their parents! For more on your favorite Y&R stars, keep reading the CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine!
