Y&R’s Jordi Vilasuso Says a Heartfelt Goodbye to Jason Canela and Noemi Gonzalez
Although they will still continue to air for a little while longer, Jason Canela and Noemi Gonzalez have taped their last scenes as Arturo and Mia on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and Jordi Vilasuso shared an emotional farewell with his on-screen family. “Feel blessed to have had Jason and Noemi become like family to me,” he posted to Instagram with some pics from what looks like a going-away party. “My heart broke today as they filmed their last scenes and are moving along in their journey. They have inspired me beyond belief and I’m so grateful to not only have worked with them but also to have grown with them. Here’s to my Rosales familia!”

Canela was the first member of the Rosales family to appear on Y&R back in February of 2018, and Vilasuso joined him in August, followed by Sasha Calle as their baby sister, Lola, in September. Gonzalez was the final addition to the clan, bringing Rey’s scheming wife, Mia, to Genoa City in November. However, one year after making his daytime debut, Canela announced his departure from the soap, followed just a couple weeks later by Gonzalez’s declaration of her own exit. Once Arturo and Mia are gone, it will leave Rey and Lola as the only members of the Rosales family left in town.
While final air dates have not yet been announced for either Canela or Gonzalez, given Y&R’s taping schedule, viewers should expect for their characters to make their last appearances sometimes before the end of May.
