Eric Braeden Promises “a Hell of a Storyline” When Victor Returns to THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

Tags:

Back in September, Eric Braden announced that he was going to be taking a vacation from THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and sure enough, Victor Newman disappeared from screens shortly after Nick and Sharon’s disastrous wedding ceremony. But now that the actor is back from his trip to Germany, many fans are eager to find out exactly when his character will be back in Genoa City. Thankfully, Braeden is very active on social media, constantly tweeting back and forth with his fans so he could give them an answer. “I was on a vacation, didn’t tell them I’d be back until the last minute and am now very excited about the new storyline,” he posted. “No one else’s fault but mine! Be patient a little longer! It’s a hell of a storyline!”

Because Y&R tapes episodes about a month ahead, Braden’s September vacation meant he would be off-screen in October. And now that he’s heading back to work, Victor probably won’t start showing up again until well into November, but at least it sounds like it’ll be worth the wait!

The last viewers saw of Victor, he was still stinging from his son’s betrayal, and took great pleasure in watching Sharon dump Nick at the altar. Might Victor be quietly prepping his plans for revenge as we speak? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out! And for more Y&R news, keep reading the CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine!
