Congratulations to Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS), who got married to her husband, Rob Meder… again! Yes, the couple already shared a bunch of wedding pics back at the end of June, and in October, announced they were expecting their first child, but now they're officially married in America. It's a little complicated… "We made it official today," Hendrickson shared on Instagram. "Just like the Bieber's, but better. Officially the funniest wedding ever."
The reason Hendrickson and Meder had another wedding ceremony was that their destination beachside wedding in Saint Barth's, as beautiful as it was, posed some legal difficulties for the couple. "The marriage license/transfer to California was too much of a headache to deal with," she admitted in her Instagram Story where she chronicled the entire hilarious ordeal.
In her Instagram Story, she teases her husband/husband-to-be for not being super enthusiastic about this redo, especially when they end up waiting longer than expected as they were behind schedule. The judge puts on a robe and has them step outside to perform the ceremony where he ends up calling her Kirsten and has to run inside to switch the paperwork! As Meder pretends to make a break for freedom, Hendrickson can't stop laughing. Then, a tourist shows up and starts taking pictures of the ceremony, and Hendrickson admitted: "I can't even get through my vows I'm laughing so hard. I crossed my legs because I swore I was about to pee from laughing so hard." As another random stranger also snapped pics from a distance, the original "guest" actually got in the way of their official photographer/videographer!
Thankfully, in the end, everything turned out just fine and not only did Hendrickson and Meder finally make it officially official in the United States, but they had a hilarious wedding ceremony they'll never forget! The entire experience is documented on her Instagram Story here, but make sure you enjoy it before it disappears!
