Elizabeth Hendrickson’s Pregnancy Written Into THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS

Tags:

Congratulations are in order for Kevin and Chloe on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as the couple is expecting another child together. And this particular storyline twist is due to the joyous news that Chloe’s portrayer, Elizabeth Hendrickson, was pregnant with her first child! The actress gave birth to Josephine James Meder on March 27, and very soon after shared the first photos of her gorgeous baby girl.

“Well, it’s official, we’re having a baby!” the actress joked on Instagram back in December as she posed with castmate Greg Rikaart (Kevin), who had passed along to her the crib he and husband Robert Sudduth used for their on son. “I’m so thrilled that Y&R wrote my pregnancy into my storyline. What a special way to document me and my baby girl’s journey. Greg, you’re an incredible hubby on and off-screen! Greg passed on Monty’s crib to us. Thank you, Greg, Rob, and Monty for the good juju! Now, let’s hope this baby sleeps!”

In October, Hendrickson announced that after experiencing two miscarriages, she and her husband, Rob Meder, were expecting a baby girl in March of 2020. And as she prepares to welcome her daughter, it looks like a crib isn’t the only gift she’ll be receiving from her friends. Mother of two, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis, Y&R), declared: “Yay! I have some stuff for you!” Hendrickson replied: “More goodies?! There is an upside to being late to the game!”

Just before Christmas, Hendrickson shared a lovely photo of herself cradling her growing baby bump in front of a beautifully decorated tree celebrating her baby shower. The actress’ own mother, Kim Hendrickson-Radovich hosted a tea party to welcome the new addition to the family. “I can’t wait for our little girl to experience all the love that is waiting for her,” Hendrickson gushed.

Now that Hendrickson’s little angel has finally arrived, the only question is when will Kevin and Chloe welcome their little bundle of joy on screen. Stay tuned to find out, and for more on your favorite Y&R stars, keep reading the CBS edition of Soaps In Depth magazine.
