Actress Alice Hunter has been cast as Kerry Johnson on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and is scheduled to make her first appearance in the Oct. 31 episode. “Ready to hit Genoa City!” she declared on Instagram when her casting was announced. “Making my mark on the number one legacy soap opera in the country . Truly honored to be portraying the intelligent, strong-willed, and big-hearted Kerry Jones on Y&R. Can’t wait to meet the talented cast, the loyal and loving fans, and get to work peeling back the layers of Ms. Jones’ history and her intentions… one… by… one.” (The character's last name was changed from Jones to Johnson when she began filming.)
We hear that Kerry is a chemist hired by Jabot, but who will also be having some dealing with Newman Enterprises. Whether that’s business or pleasure, you’ll just have to wait and see! Perhaps the chemist could play doctor with Nate and see how combustible it gets? And just what are Kerry's intentions? Could she be hiding a big secret from her employers? Anything is possible, so be sure to tune in!
Born in Middlesex, England, Hunter has had guest roles on primetime series like FOR THE PEOPLE, NCIS, CODE BLACK, and POWER. Her first big role was as Tiffany in the Australian fantasy mermaid series H20: JUST ADD WATER, and she also played Chantelle on Showtime’s HOUSE OF LIES as well as Flobelle on the Comedy Central series ANOTHER PERIOD.
