THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL Stars Respond to Fan Tweets!

Tags:

Soap stars use social media to communicate with their fans, especially Twitter, where viewers will often tweet comments while watching the show to express their opinions on storylines, characters, and unexpected twists. So THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL decided to give back by having some of the soap’s stars read actual tweets addressed to them and respond! “This is not what you need to be telling soap actors,” joked Scott Clifton (Liam). “We need to get our heads a little smaller, not bigger.”

Joining him in the video are Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), Courtney Hope (Sally), Darin Brooks (Wyatt), and Don Diamont (Bill). Hope was particularly touched by the fan comment about her character and knowing that her efforts were appreciated. “That means a lot,” she said, “because I know there was the original Sally Spectra and it was hard. I wanted to make it authentic, like I was… raised by her. But I also wanted to make it my own.”

When one fan admitted they felt sorry for Bill and wanted to give him a hug, Diamont laughed as he admitted that isn’t usually the case. “I appreciate that,” he grinned. ”Because I don’t know if people always want to give Dollar Bill a hug.” And Clifton closed out the video by joking that he was going to take the printed-out tweets home and frame them, they were so sweet.

Check out the super-fun video below and see if they read one of your tweets. And if not, you can always keep tweeting with the stars online and they may just respond personally. You never know!
