B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Welcomes a Beautiful Baby Boy
Congratulations to Jacqueline MacInness Wood (Steffy, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Rise Harlen Ruspoli on March 4. The little bundle of joy weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. and measured 21 1/2 inches.
“We chose Rise because to use, Rise means growth, the simplicity of moving forward,” Wood told People Magazine of their child’s name. “We look to our son as an uplifting force towards positive change and a better world.”
Back in October, the actress revealed her pregnancy during a sexy B&B fashion show where she strutted her stuff in some skimpy lingerie and then announced to the assembled cast and crew that she was already over five months pregnant! Then, on Nov. 4, the expectant parents held a wild gender reveal party where a drag queen performed and revealed that they would be having a boy.
Because of Wood’s maternity leave, Steffy had to be written out of the soap for a little while, so expect the baby switch storyline to go on hold for some time. And because the mom gave birth much later than originally scheduled, there’s no telling just how long it will be before she returns to work. But when she does, hopefully the truth will be revealed and Hope can get her baby back!
