B&B's Don Diamont Competing on Italian Dancing With the Stars!

Fans of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL already know that Don Diamont is a great actor because they’ve been watching his performances as Bill Spencer for years. But now they’ll be able to see whether or not he’s a great dancer because Diamont is joining the cast of the Italian DANCING WITH THE STARS, BALLANDO CON LE STELLE! Diamont shared a photo of himself practicing with his partner, Hanna Karttunen, and while he initially wrote the caption in Italian, he helpfully provided an English translation!

“I’ve joined the marvelous cast of DANCING WITH THE STARS ITALY 2018 and have been partnered with the brilliant, beautiful Hanna Karttunen,” he announced. “It’s quite a challenge, and I’m very excited for the experience. Dancing Dollar Bill? Let’s find out!”

Diamont is not the first B&B star to compete on the reality series. Back in 2014, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) danced with professional partner Simone Di Pasquale, but was unfortunately eliminated third in that season. In 2010, Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge) came in second with his partner, Sara Di Vaira, and back in 2004, Sean Kanan (ex-Deacon) gave it his best shot. B&B is a massive hit overseas, especially in Italy, so it’s no surprise that they tapped yet another star to hit their dance floor.

His partner, Hanna Karttunen, is a Finnish dancer who took part in the first series of the BBC series STRICTLY COME DANCING (the original show that DANCING WITH THE STARS was based on) and came in second place. So hopefully she’ll be able to dance Diamont all the way to the finals as well!

The new series of BALLANDO CON LE STELLE premieres Saturday, Mar. 10, and while US audiences won’t be able to watch it, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on Diamont’s progress and any behind the scenes photos and news he shares. So stay tuned!
