LOVE ISLAND’s Kyra Green Cast on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL
A new model on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL may look familiar to fans of reality TV, because she’s played by Kyra Green, who was one of the competitors on the new CBS summer series LOVE ISLAND! She is scheduled to appear in two episodes, one on Friday, Sept. 20, and the following one on Monday, Sept. 23. “Everyone, including the crew and actors, were beyond sweet to me,” Green said to People. “I was so nervous since it was my first acting job since my Kidz Bop days when I was like, 10. I’ve always loved acting, so I’m excited to be getting back into it.”
Playing a model on B&B shouldn’t be too much of a stretch for Green, who has experience in that area as well. “I started doing fashion week in New York, London, Paris, and Milan when I was 16, so it was cool to play that role on the show,” she said, adding that her family are also big fans of the popular soap.
B&B has played host to various reality TV personalities over the years, from SURVIVOR to BIG BROTHER and THE AMAZING RACE, but this is the first contestant from LOVE ISLAND to make an appearance. Which makes sense, because while the series has been a big success in the UK, this summer marked the first American production to air! Since leaving the island, Green has been dating fellow contestant Cashel Barnett, and seems to have found happiness.
