Daytime fans remember Kelly Kruger from her roles as Eva on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and Mac on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, but they’ll be able to see her in a whole new role in Bravo’s new series, IMPOSTERS.
In the black comedy, Inbar Lavi plays Maddie, a con artist who gets men to fall in love with her to steal everything from them including their hearts. Kruger is appearing in the episode titled ‘Ladies and Gentlemen, the Doctor Is In,’ premiering on Tuesday, April 4, at 10 p.m. ET.
“My character’s name is Kara,” Kruger tells Soaps In Depth, “and it’s a super-cute scene with Inbar Lavi and Parker Young (Richard). I guess you could say I’m a love interest for Richard; I hook up with him.” Of course, given the nature of Richard’s character, he’s likely to be lying about who he really is!
Kruger also enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with series creator Paul Adelstein, who as an actor has appeared in series such as GREY’S ANATOMY, PRIVATE PRACTICE, and SCANDAL. “He directed my episode, and I couldn’t have been luckier to work with him,” she enthuses. “He’s such a professional, and a true actor’s director.”
The actress was most recently seen in the Lifetime thriller Girls Night Out and has done plenty of primetime work in addition to her daytime roles. And while she admits that it can be difficult being a newcomer on an established set, that fortunately wasn’t the case with IMPOSTERS. “[They welcomed me instantly and made me feel like a part of the family,” she shares. “They run a great thing over there. The show is so good!”
