Film Star Lands Soap Spot!

THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS has scored another stunt casting coup: Stage and screen star Ellen Greene will appear on the soap as Primrose. “With a surprising link to the past, Primrose’s arrival in Genoa City brings unexpected joy to Billy and Victoria,” says a CBS spokesperson.

Greene is perhaps most famously known as Audrey in the cult favorite Little Shop Of Horrors, a role she played on Broadway for two years before reprising it for the 1986 film. Also an accomplished television vet, Greene has in recent years appeared on HEROES and PUSHING DAISIES. The actress makes her Y&R debut on Friday, January 7.
