DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Taylor Spreitler Opens Up About Her Father’s Suicide

Tragedy struck the family of Taylor Spreitler (ex-Mia, DAYS OF OUR LIVES) when her father, Danny, committed suicide.

“Today my heart is hurting,” the actress posted in a heartfelt message on July 7. “My dad took his own life due to his struggles with depression. I am deeply saddened and will miss him dearly as he was my inspiration and biggest cheerleader.”

Spreitler has now taken on the mission to help educate people on depression and urge those suffering to seek help.

I am sharing this news with my all my fans as I want to educate everyone on the pain that depression can cause. My mission now is to educate others on how to get help.
