Chloe’s Back!

On today’s episode of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, Elizabeth Hendrickson will be reprising her role as Chloe, who is returning to Genoa City to face Adam — the man who was responsible for the hit-and-run of her little girl, Delia. Since it’s been over a year since the character has been on the canvas, Soaps In Depth is here to provide you with a refresher on the storyline that sent the beauty out of the town in the first place!

Two years ago, Chloe found herself in the middle of every parent’s nightmare — the death of her child. After donating Delia’s corneas to baby Connor (who was on the verge of going blind), the grieving mom grew emotionally attached to Chelsea’s baby, even kidnapping Connor and flying off to Paris! Thankfully, Chelsea and Victor managed to rescue Connor and convince Chloe to take a step back from the emotional ledge. Alas, that mental stability was only temporary.

Back in Genoa City, the fashionista began to fantasize about re-creating Delia by becoming impregnated by her ex — and Delia’s dad — Billy. Realizing that Chloe had gone off the deep end, her family and friends held an intervention. Although she was annoyed by their good intentions, Chloe eventually agreed to seek therapy… in California! Before leaving, though, she had good-bye sex with her soon-to-be ex, Kevin and then stole Billy’s sperm!

Chloe snuck back into town in October 2014 for the anniversary of her daughter’s tragic death. While she’d hoped for her visit to go unnoticed, she encountered Kevin at the roadside memorial devoted to Delia. There, she took the opportunity to apologize for how she’d treated him. He promised to keep her Genoa City stopover a secret… unaware that Chloe had an even greater secret — a baby bump that she kept hidden as she flew back to her new home in California!
