BALLANDO CON B&B’s Brooke!

DANCING WITH THE STARS recently announced the cast for its new season, and once again there are some ABC Daytime alums in its ranks. But there’s a star from THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL who will also be hoofing for the big prize… on the other side of the world!

Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) revealed on Facebook that she will be competing on the Italian version of the show, BALLANDO CON LE STELLE. “My sweetie and I are moving to Italy for the next couple of months,” she posted, adding, “The first live dance will be October 4th, please tune in and vote!”

B&B is a massive hit overseas, and her co-star Ronn Moss (ex-Ridge) competed on this same reality show himself back in 2010. Seeing as he came second with his partner, Sara Di Vaira, Lang should probably hit him up for some tips and tricks!

Actors performing on DWTS at the same time they’re appearing on a daytime soap can be a rough schedule, but since Lang will be in Italy for this competition, it’s impossible. “Brooke will be heading to the Milan office of Forrester International,” the actress posted to Facebook to explain her alter ego’s upcoming on-screen absence. “For some much needed private time and reflection.

“Once BALLANDO CON LE STELLE is over, I will be back to work at B&B,” she continues. “Unless we can get [executive producer/headwriter] Brad [Bell] to come to Italy to do a remote!”
