The holidays are full of surprises — both good, bad, and everything in between — in these spoilers from THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS!

Spotting a very large Christmas present under the tree, Lauren enthusiastically urges Michael not to wait until the 25th to see what’s inside. “Come on!” she says, “let’s open it up!” But then suddenly the lid flies off of the box and out leaps Michael’s mom, Gloria! “Deck the halls, everybody!” she exclaims as Lauren screams in shock and Michael reels from the sight. It’s been years since Gloria was a part of her family’s lives, so where has she been and what does she have planned this time around? With all the problems Lauren’s been having keeping Fenmore’s in business, having Gloria back in her life is the last thing she probably needs right now!

After Faith ran away to escape all the family drama, everyone came together to find her, and now that she’s safe at home again, the entire Newman clan is on pins and needles around the little girl. With Nikki by his side, Victor gently tells his granddaughter, “Sweetheart, I told both of your parents that you would like to make up your mind about where you want to stay.” Sharon and Nick sit nervously watching the scene unfold as their daughter considers the incredibly sticky situation. Will she choose to go home with Nick and little Christian or stay with Sharon and Dylan instead? And will everyone agree to abide by what Faith decides or will another fight break out?
