What You Missed On Yesterday’s Y&R!

Due to issues between CBS and Time Warner, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL are not currently being aired in several markets. To help those impacted, we’ll be offering daily recaps.

Thursday, August 29

When Victoria came over to help Avery with the wedding, Avery confessed that there probably wouldn’t be a wedding. Victoria vowed the wedding would happen, and insisted that Avery was now stuck with Nick and his crazy family! Across town, when Courtney ran into (and flirted with) Noah, Tyler wondered why Noah didn’t go out on a date with the beauty. Noah admitted that while he was attracted to Courtney, she was off-limits because she was Summer’s best friend and too young. At Crimson Lights, Nick told Dylan to value every day of Connor’s life, because kids grew up so fast. Summer overheard, and later told Courtney that she was planning to leave Genoa City because she was feeling too much pressure. Meanwhile, Nikki arrived and chatted with Nick. When she spotted Summer, she went talk to her, sympathizing over what she was going through. Nikki reminded her that Victor, Jack and Nick might be stubborn, but they loved her more than anything in the world. Although Summer agreed, Nikki went to warn Nick that she suspected that Summer was going to leave town. At the ranch, Adam tried to convince Victor that it would be a good move to buy Chancellor Industries. Victor wanted to know who his son got to pony up the money that had allowed the Newmans to buy back the company. Adam refused to say, prompting Victor to promise to think about buying Chancellor if Adam would reveal the name of his secret investor!

Do you think Victor should make a play to buy Chancellor Industries? And what do you think is in Nikki’s letter from Katherine? Share your thoughts in the comments!
