Overwhelmed with guilt, Maya consulted with Carter about whether or not to confess to Rick about their one night together. Maya let Rick know she needed to see him alone after the show. Backstage at the fashion preview, Rafael told Caroline that he saw Carter doing “the walk of shame” from Maya’s apartment the night after their ROOM 8 premiere. Thorne and Thomas ruthlessly anticipated Rick’s fall from Eric’s good graces and predicted it would cost him the Forrester presidency. Rick and Caroline became concerned when their new collection didn’t seem to get the reaction from the press and buyers that they were hoping for.
