THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS Spoilers — Nikki Fights for Her Life!

It’s going to take a Christmas miracle to save Nikki’s life in these THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS spoilers! Left for dead after a hit and run, Nikki is rushed to the hospital where the prognosis is unfortunately quite grim. Will she pull through or will this be the worst Christmas ever for the Newman family?

Reed insisted on driving them home from the Jabot party after Charlie admitted he’d snuck a couple beers, but in the snowstorm, they couldn’t see anything in front of them and accidentally struck a drunken Nikki with the car as she stumbled out of the club. Brought to the hospital, Nikki is still clinging to life, but Nick fears the worst when his mother doesn’t regain consciousness. “She’s not getting better,” he cries to Abby, who tries to comfort him with a hug.

In addition to his grief, Nick also won’t rest until the driver of the car who left the scene is brought to justice. “I’m gonna find the person who did this,” he vows. “He’s gonna pay!” Realizing that what he hit wasn’t an animal but his own grandmother, Reed is beside himself. And sitting by Nikki’s bedside at the hospital, he breaks down in tears. “This is all my fault,” he mutters aloud.

Nikki’s children look to Nate for some hopeful words. “She’s gonna make it, right?” Victoria asks, her voice halting. But the doc doesn’t have the best news for them. “You all need to prepare for the worst,” Nate cautions as Nick looks away, unable to process the news.
