The Young and The Restless Recaps — The Abbott Family Exploded!

Despite being on the outs with her entire clan for having tricked Jack into thinking he wasn’t an Abbott, Ashley remained unapologetic. In fact, she insisted that if given the chance, she would do it again! Stunned at Ashley’s lack of remorse, the family joined forces to oust her from the CEO position. Hoping to alleviate the tension at home, Ash moved out — but not before making a bad situation worse by blasting mom Dina for ever ything that had happened! Upset, Dina suddenly recalled that she had proof that she’d been a good mother to Ashley. Kyle was shocked when Dina revealed a hidden safe at Jabot which contained legal contracts giving Ashley complete ownership of all patents she’d developed for the company! Realizing the power it gave his aunt, Kyle began shredding the documents, but was interrupted by Jack… who decided to help shred them! Unfortunately for them, Dina told Traci about the shredding party, prompting her to reconstruct the documents. Upon discovering the truth, Traci called a family meeting to work through their issues. Jack was persuaded by Traci to tell Ashley about the documents. Not surprisingly, Ashley blasted Jack, and then tried to use her new power to reclaim the CEO position!

Billy Took Action!

Upon returning from rehab, Billy and Kyle nearly came to blows when the gambler learned that his nephew was the one who’d lured him back to the tables. Recognizing that he’d gone too far, Kyle apologized, but Billy refused to accept it! Later, Billy invited Summer to his office, where he hoped to let her down gently. But when Phyllis arrived, Billy revealed that he’d gotten revenge on Phyllis by sleeping with her daughter! A tearful Summer fled, prompting a furious Phyllis to slap her ex, declaring that he had gone too far! A distraught Summer interrupted Kyle’s date with Lola. Annoyed that Kyle actually spent time comforting his ex, Lola huffed off! Summer later returned to Jabot, where she and her mother put aside their differences to comfort each other about recent events. Free of her infatuation with Billy, Summer turned her attention to sabotaging Kyle’s relationship with Lola! Sparks seemed to be flying again between Victoria and Billy, as well as Jack and an ex!

In Other News…

When Cane missed his visit with Lily, Nate went to check on the Aussie and was shocked when Cane admitted that he was having a hard time seeing his wife in prison. Disgusted, Nate blasted him for selfishness, especially since Lily was struggling to survive! Ashamed, Cane reached out to Lily and tried to ease her situation by having her visualize them on a romantic date. Meanwhile, Mariah and Nick noticed Sharon’s growing closeness with Rey. Hoping to win his ex back, Nick manipulated Sharon into spending Halloween together “for the sake of the kids.” Elsewhere, Nikki, Phyllis, Sharon and Victoria tried to stand tough against the blackmailer. But when Mariah told her mom that she felt as if she was being followed by someone, a freaked Sharon convinced her fellow conspirators that they needed to pay the blackmailer immediately!
