The first week of May marked the final week of Gina Tognoni’s five year run as Phyllis Summers on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS. “Day one of my last week,” the actress posted to Instagram along with a selfie holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers given to her by Y&R publicist Matt Kane. “My heart is feeling the love. My respect for the craft and the space in which we create is important on every level to me. Matt, my flowers are extraordinary… like you.”

The evening of May 2 saw the cast and crew of Y&R gathering together at a local venue for a goodbye party for the departing actress. “Just a few photos from an incredible evening last night,” Tognoni posted. “A celebration of five years with my Y&R family. My heart is full!”
