GUIDING LIGHT’s Tina Sloan (Lillian) has written Changing Shoes: Getting Older — Not Old — With Style, Humor, and Grace, a hilarious memoir that takes a look at her life in front of the camera and behind it. The soap opera veteran will be at Borders in Northridge, CA (9301 Tampa Avenue) on Thursday, October 7, to do a reading, take questions, and sign autographs. Then, catch the actress in her one-woman-show by the same name. “I’m kind of finding it fun,” she says of the experience of telling tales from her showbiz life. “I have a lot of clips from my 26 years on GL in it, and I even use some from SOMERSET where [in the 1970s] I played the villain, the bitch-goddess [Kate Cannell]!” Sloan wil be in Pittsburgh, on Monday, October 11, in Cincinnati on Monday, October 18, and in Houston on Monday, October 25.
