Rylan To Exit Y&R As Well!

Genie Francis (Genevieve) wasn’t the only actor given a termination notice by the new regime of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS this week: Marcy Rylan (Abby) has also been let go from the soap.

The actress was cast in the role of Victor and Ashley’s daughter in May 2010, shortly after wrapping her stint as GUIDING LIGHT’s Lizzie when that show went off the air. Like Francis, Rylan was let go due to budget cuts. Nonetheless, the actress seems to be taking the news in stride. “I had a blast at Y&R and I’m taking all those awesome memories with me!” she tweeted. “I am so excited to see what will come next! Love you all!”

From what our insiders are telling us, Francis and Rylan won’t be the only stars to be let go from the soap under Y&R’s new regime, so stay tuned!
