Is Hilary After Cane?

Mishael Morgan joins THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS this Friday, June 14, as Hilary, but who exactly is the Genoa City newcomer, and what is she up to? “Hilary is an A-type of personality,” reveals the actress. “She’s very put together. She comes in as the assistant to Cane. She’s very driven. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. She’s the best assistant ever!”

Of course, Y&R is a soap opera, and it’s common for characters to have hidden agendas. But could Hilary be the real deal? “She seems a genuine person,” Morgan muses. “That being said, we don’t know what’s going to happen in the future! But she definitely makes it seem that she’s out for everybody’s best interests… especially Cane’s.”

Whether Hilary is out to help Cane, ruin Cane, or steal him away from Lily, viewers will just have to tune in. And Morgan is also looking forward to each script to see where her storyline takes her! “They’re really good at keeping it hush-hush,” she says of the writers. “I really want [Hilary] to be devious and bad because I always want to play those characters! I’m always the nice girl. Hilary is pretty sweet right now, and I’m like, ‘There’s got to be bad in there!’ We’ll see what happens!”
