Has Y&R Cast Mariah’s Mom?

Karina Logue has been cast as Helen Copeland on THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and will first air on Thursday, August 14. The actress has appeared in several TV series, including SONS OF ANARCHY (starring her brother, Donal Logue), CSI: NY, BONES, TRUE BLOOD, NCIS and ARMY WIVES, and films such as Argo, Zodiac and When A Stranger Calls.

Details about her character are being kept under wraps, but seeing as how she shares a last name with Mariah, there’s obviously some kind of connection there, and the soap has confirmed that Logue will first appear in scenes with Joshua Morrow‘s Nick. The casting notice describes Helen as a trained nurse who was in and out of jobs, and she was a young mother… but an unwilling parent.
