When THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS turned Austin from Avery’s cameraman to her on-line stalker who shot Paul and went on the run with Summer, it seemed like the character didn’t have much of a future (even if he and Summer did get hitched!). But a rep for the soap reveals to Soaps In Depth that Matthew Atkinson is now on contract, so Austin will be around for quite a while!
