The DAYS OF OUR LIVES Cast — See How It’s Changed Over the Years!

In its five decades on the air, DAYS OF OUR LIVES has seen plenty of cast changes as actors have come and gone from the long-running soap. And while some of the actors may be daytime newbies, there are plenty of stars who have been in Salem for years.

MUST SEE: DAYS Vet Bill Hayes Makes a Surprise Appearance on THE TONIGHT SHOW!

Frances Reid (Alice) made her debut with DAYS when it premiered in 1965, and remained with the show until her death in 2010. Suzanne Rogers (Maggie) recently celebrated her 40th anniversary with DAYS having first appeared in 1973. And although she has come and gone over the years and is now on recurring status with the show, Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) has earned the distinction of being the only actor to have appeared on DAYS during each of the five decades it has been on TV!

The canvas has always been full of a mixture of fresh faces and daytime vets. So you have actors like newcomer Christopher Sean (Paul) playing the on-screen son of Drake Hogestyn (John), who joined the cast back in 1986. And even when someone leaves the soap, it doesn’t mean they’re gone for good. Judi Evans (Adrienne) has come and gone over the years since she first appeared in 1986, and the popular Alison Sweeney, who left her role as Sami Brady back in 2015 after more than two decades on the show, is making a return scheduled to air in late 2017!
