Inside The Wedding of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger!

Normally, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Darin Brooks (Wyatt) and Kelly Kruger (Eva; ex-Mac, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) are a thoroughly modern couple. But when it came to their March nuptials in Honolulu, Hawaii, they adhered to one timeless tradition: “We made it a point that we didn’t want to see each other on our wedding day until the ceremony,” says Brooks, who booked a separate hotel room for the night before their big day. “I told Kelly, ‘I didn’t want you seeing me in my suit beforehand! That’s bad luck!’”

Once Brooks kissed his bride-to-be goodnight, the enormity of what they were embarking on set in. “When he left the room that night, I literally started crying and couldn’t stop,” Kruger recalls with a laugh. “I called him right away.”

Needless the say, the next day was even more charged with emotion when the couple finally met to exchange vows in front of 100 of their closed loved ones. “Some people might think it’s old-fashioned [for the bride and groom not to see each other before the wedding], but I think it made that moment so incredibly special,” adds Kruger.
