Adrienne Frantz Shares Great News About Her Hospitalized Father
Please join us in sending love and prayers to Adrienne Frantz (ex-Amber, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS) and her entire family as her father, John Frantz, was rushed to the hospital on July 27. “Please pray for my dad, John Frantz, right now!” she shared on Instagram. “He was airlifted to the hospital and is in ICU on life support! I am on a plane now! Hang in there, daddy, I’m coming! Life is precious and fragile! Treat it as such! You never know…”
Frantz’s Y&R and B&B co-stars and friends like Kate Linder (Esther, Y&R), Tammin Sursok (ex-Colleen, Y&R), Ashley Jones (ex-Bridget, B&B), and Jacob Young (ex-Rick, B&B) joined the many fans in sending love and support in the comments on the Instagram photo of her father and her daughter, three-year-old Amélie.
After arriving at the hospital, Frantz snapped a photo of her dad in his bed and offered an update for fans and friends. “No news yet!” she reported. “Please keep praying for my dad, John Frantz! I’m here, Daddy! Not a good look on you! Please get up so I can kick your butt for freaking me out!”
Thankfully, a couple days later, on July 29, Frantz had some good news to share. “Looks like someone has an amazing guardian angel!” she exclaimed. “My dad is up! He is still in ICU but this is a start! I really thought this wouldn’t happen! It has been a horrible few days! Thank you everyone for all of your wonderful prayers and support! Still have a long way to go but God blessed today! And thank you to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses who have been taking such great care of him! Lunch is on me tomorrow!”
Then, the following day, she shared even more good news. “So they moved my dad out of ICU!” Frantz exclaimed. “He is still in the hospital but doing so much better! Thank you all for your love and support and prayers! I think he is on his 9th life! And thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses that saved his life! Thank you, God, for giving them healing hands!”
Although Frantz has not explained what happened to her father to land him in the ICU, we’re glad that the doctors were able to treat him and John continues to improve. We’ll hold the entire family in our thoughts during this time and hope for further positive updates, which we will naturally continue to pass along.
